A company placed on web site information about flat hiring fee per 24- hours on one page and info about 10% commission on another page. If you do not have extra money you will not get booked flat as well. This is the surprise of high standard. What does it mean? At the stage of search be as much attentive as possible and not only read all the info available on web site but also make sure additionally by phone or email all necessary details and extra fees. If the company is not really an intermediary but a managerial it will not forget to specify these nuances since it is a real way to attract more clients.
However what is strange is that people hardly believe companies blowing off that they are not intermediary or agent (read as “we know you, fraudsters!”) but “individual owners” who offer “cheap excellent flats for 24-hours, repair, and furniture”, etc. are trusted more and people happy with them. Meanwhile, managerial companies are those who guarantee that proposed flat is classified as “excellent” and can boast about furniture and fresh repair. Otherwise, if you hire a flat directly from owners the surprise (ironically enough – quite expected) will be as cockroaches, leaking stopcocks, crumbling plaster and a camp bed as an alternative for “additional bed”. By the way, quality flats for 24-hours consider sofa or wide convertible armchair as “additional bed” but definitely not the soviet camp bed.
Sometimes flat owners’ requirements may totally break guests’ heart and other vital organs. There are known situations when owners decided that their occupants do not need to go outside, at least do it often and without necessity. That is why the owners just locked guests outside the flat and went away with the keys. In order to go outside guest should have been called owners or neighbors who have additional key by phone. Before guests can go outside the owners checked furniture and equipment are safe. What is it? Curios? Surprise? It is likely to be your own thoughtlessness…
Same surprise may be for you when flat owners will come at 3 AM in order to check the accommodations. Perish forbid you from being in the kitchen with friends and a bottle of wine! Finally, it is unlikely but for somebody it may be surprisingly that unfair agency or flat owner (especially flat owner!) does not want to prove your flat hiring fees with documents or living at the given address with temporary registration paper. In your dreams! This means that you may have problems with law-enforcement authorities when you are walking outside. If you appeal to flat owners and ask to confirm your temporary living in the flat to not be surprised if the owners say they sees you for the first time. Unfortunately they do not want to pay fine for the fact they provided they flat for unregistered guest and a taxes since providing flat for hire services are liable to tax.
