Family traditions

For some reason some people think that family businesses exist only in small towns where other types of businesses are just not possible. Only to multinational corporations with offices in most major cities of the world is exception to this rule: once they also started with a single family factory or a little shop. Nowadays these corporations, of course, can not be considered as family. So it turns out that the exception only confirms the rule. And it seems logical because in a small, for example, a seaside town, you can easily imagine a private house, where its part is reserved for the cozy cafe for two-three tables. And, of course, the owners of the house that once decided to open it are working in this cafe: husband is engaged in administrative affairs, the wife is at the oven, the daughter runs around with trays. And everybody is happy: along with variety of other benefits they do not have travelling expenses.

However, not only in small towns there are companies that are serviced exclusively by members of one family. Another thing is that you can find them not in each industry. Although hotel business is more of family concern. Of course, in its "mini" part.

Family hotels are special concept. They do not belong to mini-hotels, much less to ordinary hotels. And often the word "hotel" is not used even in the name of the brand. This is just a few apartments that are in close to each other: as minimum - in the same house, as maximum - at one floor (and it is - the most common variant). At least, in the light of the apartment for 24 hours this option interests us most. Of course, there are also real family hotels (also, of course, mini): with a lounge, reception desk, security, cafe, kitchen and all the trappings of a hotel full life. But experts combine these concepts for simplicity.

Of course, there is a family hotel from scratch only if it is conceived as a separate mini-hotel with a new building. However, more frequently there is quite different apartment. Suppose a man owns an apartment, gets the neighbor flat on the same staircase as inheritance. Concurrently, he received a very favorable offer to purchase the third on the same site. Well, if there is a fourth, it is not a sin to negotiate with a neighbor about the purchase. Consider the basis for a family hotel is created: there are four flats at your disposal, which are nowhere for you. You can create a multi-room housing or good, very lucrative business.

Calculate benefits yourself: do not need to buy or rent land, no need to engage in construction and the paperwork associated with it, and time to prepare the business. However, both time and expenses are is very conventional units largely dependent on what particular suits you would prefer to provide for hire. Of course, you will still have to repair and beat the living space; however, depending on the "economy" or "business" category financial cost and time required will change.

Then you can act on the circumstances. Some people prefer to work themselves, but work seriously - with company registration, good advertising, and under the guise of a hotel. Others simply rent these apartments through hired agents, removing the burden of responsibility for finding a client, but continue to serve apartment per day, providing comfort and cleanliness. Others give out the reins to management company. However, the latter variant can not be called family at all.

Of course, family hotel can not fully provide all the services that we are accustomed to getting at the hotel. And it is true, yet we are talking rather about serviced apartments as a family business, rather than full-fledged hotel. However, such enterprise would have some advantages - of course, if you care for them in advance. For you, in addition to comfort and quality service within is infrastructure. Since you can not feed a client, bat in your own swimming pool and entertain in you own club, try to make sure they could get it all in close are to your family hotel.

So, your family hotel will not be popular, if you can not guarantee the customer within walking distance the following:
- bus stop of public transportation (preferably - not one);
- shopping and entertainment center;
- several food shops - from the old times with bulky cash registers to the new self-service centers;
- a couple of cafes, bars and restaurants of different levels (but the most expensive is better not to orient);
- other entertainment, including theater, museum and sports facilities; the more extended the infrastructure is, the more convenient your service hotel will be for your client - quite frankly, in many cases not the most convenient out of all available.

Suppose you live in the same house where your family business is. In this case, you simply can not engage in the process personally to make the pluses in your hotel became even more! Suppose, it is not manageable in your hotel to arrange kitchen or even a cafe (having cafe in a building is just a headache). However, you have your own kitchen that you can easily let in the case. Do you call your company as family? So ACT. Owner of family hotels always brew coffee and bake pastries in their own kitchens and treat clients with their own masterpieces of culinary art. And do not forget to include all expenses in the bills - you do understand it.

Thus, several problems get solved at once! Customers, especially interested in centralized feeding, will not suffer from its absence. Customers, who simply do not need it will be happy with the availability of food. You will be able to vary this depending on the price, creating the illusion of successfully navigating prices, discounts and great diversity in the seemingly limited number of rooms.
